Join us for an artist talk with solo exhibiting artist Joey Brock in conversation with guest moderator, Johnny Rutledge. Brock and Rutledge will explore many complex themes involved in Brock’s current exhibition Heavenly Bodies, Earthly Wounds, which confronts the historical and ongoing othering of the LGBTQ+ community, particularly within Christian contexts. Learn more about his creative process and how he uses art to challenge and redefine traditional notions and create work that is a testament to queer resilience and spiritual reclamation.
