Event Details

Join us for our annual Movie Nights in Sundance Square Plaza.

Movies are every Thursday this summer starting June 7 through July 14. Movies begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tonight our feature film is You’ve Got Mail (1998) starring Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Parker Posey, Jean Stapleton and Dave Chappelle.  The film tells of Kathleen Kelly, who owns a children’s bookstore in New York.  It is a small but profitable labor of love – until Foxbooks, a mega-chain of super-sized bookstores, begins building across the street.  Joe Fox, an executive with the family-owned firm, is directly responsible for this particular branch.  Kathleen despises Joe and everything he seems to stand for.  The future of her very livelihood is in doubt.  When Kathleen and Joe are not working, they are logged onto their respective computers, where they’ve each met a wonderful friend.  No one else has shared-or is even aware of-their intimate, anonymous electronic conversations that begin with the magic words “you’ve got mail.”

Upcoming films include:
July 5 – Bottle Shock
July 12 – Peter Rabbit (new release)

*Sundance Square Plaza, while privately owned is a welcoming space to all. For the enjoyment of everyone, we ask that you abide by the code of conduct. While you may bring food or beverages from any of our Sundance Square restaurants onto the plaza,  no outside food or drink is allowed. Your support of our merchants helps keep this event FREE!  Click here for a list of nearby eateries.  As always on movie nights, we encourage you to bring your portable chairs and blankets for seating, but please leave your pets in the safety and comfort of your home.  The large crowds and movie noise can be disturbing to your furry friends.
