Excitement fills the air with the arrival of this year’s beautiful 65-foot Concolor Fir Christmas tree from the state of Michigan. Local dignitaries, representatives from Sundance Square, and Green Mountain Energy Company will be on site at 9:30 a.m. for the official standing of the tree in the Sundance Square Plaza.

Throughout the week, a talented crew of decorators will work their magic and adorn the tree with thousands of LED lights, snowflakes and ornaments. The brightly-colored Nutcracker-themed Santa photoset will be back along with our giant illuminated ornaments.

The Sundance Square Christmas Tree will be lit Saturday, November 18 at 6:30 p.m. Live music by The Inspiration Band begins at 5:30 p.m. will add to the holiday festivities. Families are encouraged to come downtown early, shop, dine and enjoy a fun-filled day. Children will have their first opportunity to visit with jolly old St. Nick in his bright red sleigh starting at 11 a.m.

The XTO Parade of Lights is scheduled the following evening, Sunday, November 19 at 6 p.m.
