The district is named for the Sundance Kid, the famous partner of the outlaw Butch Cassidy. Their “Wild Bunch” gang would travel to downtown Fort Worth often to lie low and relax.
You can park for free when you arrive after 5 p.m. on weekdays – and all weekend long. Parking is free on weekdays when you make a purchase in Sundance Square and get your ticket validated. We also offer free valet parking every day at multiple locations – simply get your ticket validated. You can even drop off your vehicle at one location and pick it up at another. You can pick up your keys at the security control center located at 205 Commerce Street, suite 105. The control center is open 24 hours a day.
We don’t recommend leaving your car overnight.
Sundance Square Plaza
Yes. At certain times of the day, you can step into the large jetted fountains and enjoy the water: Monday – Friday from 2 p.m. – 6.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. But please note that swimsuits, pool toys, and pets aren’t allowed. And for your safety, please don’t run.
The large umbrellas open and the fountains begin at 1O a.m. daily. The umbrellas close and fountains turn off Sunday-Thursday at 11 p.m. and Friday/Saturday at midnight.

You’re welcome to bring your bike. However, this is a pedestrian area and you must walk your bike through the Plaza. For everyone’s safety, skateboards and roller blades are not allowed.

Yes. The Intermodal Transportation Center is only five blocks away. From there, you can walk or hop on Molly the Trolley.
