Sundance Square is located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth – just steps from the Tarrant County Courthouse – and encompasses more than 35 square blocks. View a full map of Sundance Square.
The district is named for the Sundance Kid, the famous partner of the outlaw Butch Cassidy. Their “Wild Bunch” gang would travel to downtown Fort Worth often to lie low and relax.
Parking
Parking is free for 2.5 hours in Sundance Square Garage 3 & 4 when you make a purchase in Sundance Square and show your receipt. Valet is offered for your convenience. You can even drop off your vehicle at one location and pick it up at another. Get more information about parking.
Sundance Square offers around 6,000 parking spots, from multi-level garages to street parking. View the parking map.
You can pick up your keys at the overnight key storage box located next to the valet office on 200 W. 6th Street.
We don’t recommend leaving your car overnight.
Sundance Square Plaza
Playtime hours are from 11am-5pm daily. Hours are subject to change.
It is not permitted to enter the fountain while in operation outside of these hours.
- Diapers are not allowed in the fountains
- Children entering the fountains should be potty-trained
- Animals are not allowed in the fountains
- Swimsuits are not allowed in the fountains
- Toys are not allowed in the fountains
The large umbrellas open at 10 a.m. daily.
Fountain viewing hours:
11:00am-3:00pm, 4:00pm-11:00pm

You’re welcome to bring your bike. However, this is a pedestrian area and you must walk your bike through the Plaza. For everyone’s safety, skateboards and roller blades are not allowed.

Yes. The Intermodal Transportation Center is only five blocks away. From there, you can walk or hop on Molly the Trolley.
