Located in the heart of downtown Ft. Worth’s Sundance Square, Scat showcases some of the best local, regional, and national talent with a primary focus on straightahead jazz. Just head into the alley on Fourth Street and look for the colorful neon sign. Take the elevator to the basement and you’re there: one of the coolest jazz clubs in America, with old-school decor, an intimate atmosphere, and cold drinks. There are no TVs to distract you from the sounds and the swank. The musicians here are top-notch, from nationally touring acts to talented locals, with a focus on straight-ahead jazz. According to Downbeat Magazine, this is one of the top jazz venues in the world.
